- Player -Name: Yuuto Hayashi
Gender: Male
Age: 23
Sexuality: Straight
- Character -Name: Steel
Gender: Male
Apparent Age: Early to Mid 20's
Face Claim: Tatsuya Shiba, The Irregular of Magic High School
Played By: Steel
Faction: Adventurer
- Appearance -In real life, Yuuto had two distinct appearances. When not doing anything work related, his black hair is unkept and his clothes are simple and comfortably baggy to hide his athletic and sturdy physique. To hide his identity in public when just going to a convenience store or a game store, it was common for him to wear a beanie and fake glasses so he wouldn't get mobbed by fans. When in work mode, his hair is made far neater and he wears more fashionable clothes where his build is more apparent.
The in game avatar Steel has an appearance more in line with his work mode, his hair for some reason never getting messy. The big differences are in the fact that his body is slightly more muscular and stands at 183 cm (6 feet) tall unlike his real life 180 cm (5 foot 11 inches). Steel's eyes are also blue rather than his original brown and they also have a more piercing stare to them. His taste of generally simple clothes is the same though. As a Vanguard, he wears heavy armor and keeps in hand a sword and shield.
- Personality -The Yuuto Hayashi known to the public is the epitome of coolness and is known for being calm and collected at all times with a flair for some showmanship. His cool demeanor makes the small smirks and smiles he gives all the more attention grabbing. Pair it with a nice baritone voice and you got squealing fans, primarily of the female kind.
The real person behind this mask however is rather different though one could argue that his idol self is part of him too. One would think that an international idol would have become one to be under the limelight but that's not the case. While he certainly doesn't hate the attention or performing on stage, it gets tiring putting on a mask all day and in the back of his mind he'd be thinking of how to proceed in his video games. In real life, he's rather carefree and approachable due to his friendly demeanor. That's not to say his work self wasn't but it was far more subdued to maintain his image.
He's also rather lazy, often times not cleaning his apartment besides the kitchen area unless absolutely needed. Even the fact his avatar is slightly taller than his real height was because he accidentally mistyped the number and was too lazy to change the last number. The only real thing he puts effort in is his video games, especially MMOs where he parties up with others and his idol career.
Due to the avatar of Steel falling more in line with his appearance as an idol, Yuuto unconsciously acts in work mode at times, acting cool and collected. Combined with his experience with MMORPGs, he can efficiently analyze the situation and lead people in battle. Though with how he's kind of stuck in this new world, his actual friendly (and lazy) personality shines through far more often.
- Biography -Yuuto Hayashi lead a relatively normal life with both parents still alive and a little sister about 6 years his junior. It was better than a good chunk of anime protagonists who only had one parent or none of them at least. Wake up, go to school, maybe nap in class, go home, do homework, game, sleep, repeat. This cycle repeated itself over and over for years with gaming taking up even more time on days off. All while being able to maintain his grades so his parents wouldn't have as big a problem with his hobby. He started the MMORPG Gaia Reborn in middle school and got enraptured with playing with others and working as a team. It got to the point that he would've spent more time with these online friends than actual people if his childhood friends weren't such busybodies, checking up on him and dragging him out of his room occasionally.
Early in life, his mother had half forced him to join a children's choir so he could explore other hobbies than staring at a screen playing games all day. It was discovered that he had a talent in singing. Despite that, Yuuto didn't make much use of this talent for a long while till high school when his schoolmates somehow heard of his talent and even more surprisingly convinced him to dress up and sing on stage during a cultural festival. Apparently, one of his friends recorded it and uploaded it to the internet so they could tease him about it later. After said friendly teasing was finished with, Yuuto ignored the video, not knowing it would reach viral status within the next few days. So it was to his shock that some big shot producer rang his doorbell a few weeks later, asking him to come in for idol auditions. With some pushing from his parents and puppy eyes from his sister, he ended up going. To his surprise he ended up passing and began his intense training. While he grumbled about it at first due to losing a good chunk of time for his games, those thoughts were blasted away from the exhilaration of his first performance in front of a big crowd. His first solo concert happened a bit after graduating high school and soon after, he became a pretty big name in Japan and even reaching overseas. Somehow he managed to keep up his status as a high ranking player in Gaia Reborn all the while.
It was during his world tour that the fateful incident occurred. After his last performance in Italy, he was just sitting in his hotel room when he got curious as to what the Italian server of Gaia Reborn looked like. It sounded like a fun time, exploring a new server so he made a new account for it. He didn't know he'd be sucked in however.
- Extra -- He is a far better singer than a dancer so most of his performances do not contain many if any complicated dance routines to go along with the songs.
- For some reason his messiness doesn't reach the kitchen. His laziness makes him more likely to take shortcuts in cooking without sacrificing taste.
- As a backup plan he was also attending an online college though he only did the bare minimum credits per term so he could focus more on his idol work and Gaia Reborn

Claw & Scale
The Vanguard obtains a buff when playing with either type of equipment. Not having a Shield equipped grants them Claw, while having a Shield equipped grants them Scale.
Claw: The Vanguard can use their Two-Handed weapon for any Shield skills. However, the mana costs of them are increased by a flat minor mana cost.
Scale: For each enemy currently Aggroed onto by the Vanguard, the Vanguard will receive a minor Defense Up. The Vanguard will not receive more than 3 Defense Up buffs from this skill at any given moment. The Defense Up will last until the enemies are either killed, or Aggroed by another player.
Passive skill.- Rank I -Draco Strike
The Vanguard strikes the enemy with a fierce roar as their weapon glows a bright red, presenting itself as a threat to a single enemy. This attack deals average damage, but builds a high amount of Aggro.
1s animation time, 10s cooldown. Minor mana cost.Drake ForceChanneling their inner strength and fortitude, the Vanguard strengthens their body as a faint orange aura beams off of them. This grants them an average Defense, Magic Defense and Aggro Up for 20s.
Instant, 50s cooldown. Average mana cost.Dragon’s Roar
The Vanguard unleashes a fearsome shout, building average Aggro on all foes within a 5m radius. This applies 1 stack of Dragonfear for 30s. When an enemy reaches 3 stacks, the stacks are removed and the target succumbs to Fear for 2.5s.
1s animation time, 10s cooldown. Below-average mana cost.Shield BarrageShield skill. The Vanguard tosses their shield in a horizontal arc like a boomerang. The shield’s maximum range is 8m, and the Vanguard has full control over the length of its arc. While the shield only deals low damage, it also inflicts a high amount of Aggro to all enemies hit. This makes it perfect for aggroing several enemies at range.
1-2s animation time, 20s cooldown. Average mana cost.- Rank II -Wyvern Bite
The Vanguard coats their weapon in a bright red aura as they perform a thrusting attack. This red aura then shapes itself into a pair of dragon’s jaws that bite on the pierced enemy. This deals average damage and restores health equal to 80% of the damage inflicted.
1.5s animation time, 10s cooldown. Average mana cost.- Rank III -- Crafting Subclass -Level 1
Iron StomachNot even food poisoning can stop a dedicated chef! This skill can be toggled, allowing chefs to become immune to status debuffs caused by drinks and food, such as Poison or Accuracy Down.
Toggle skill.
“Also prevents intoxication, which is the only real reason to ever toggle this skill off.”- Roleplaying Subclass -Level 1
Idol's Mannerisms
The Idol has learnt how to change their mannerisms to make them more likeable and less threatening, making others slightly more friendly towards them. While toggled on, they will also receive a low Aggro Down.
Toggle, no cooldown. Low mana drain.- Racial & Talents -Human PotentialThough many might consider the lack of specialization in the stats of a human a curse, attributing them to a jack of all trade and master of none, this ordinariness is the strength of the humans, granting them the power to forge their own path, specializing in what they choose, unhindered by their race. Human characters start with 12 SP. Every 40 EXP, they receive an additional 1SP and 2AP.
